A veneer or laminate is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetic or protect a damaged tooth surface. Veneers are pieces of porcelain bonded to the surface of the tooth. The chosen shade remains permanent, and in most cases, the veneer lasts for a lifetime.
The procedure is not complicated. Normally, the teeth are prepared to accept laminates. An impression is taken and veneers are bonded after 10 days.
